By using IlikePDF you agree to these terms. They're deliberately short.

1. The service

IlikePDF provides free browser-based PDF tools. They are offered as-is, with no guarantee of availability, accuracy or fitness for any particular purpose.

2. Acceptable use

You may use these tools for any lawful purpose. You may not use them to infringe copyright, process material you have no right to access, or attempt to circumvent protection on documents you do not own. The planned Unlock PDF tool will require the correct password precisely because it is not a circumvention tool.

3. Your files

You keep all rights to your documents. We claim no licence over anything you process, and for browser-based tools we never receive your files in the first place.

4. No warranty

Conversions between document formats are approximate by nature. Always check output before relying on it, and always keep your original file. We are not liable for data loss, corrupted output or decisions made based on a conversion result.

5. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, IlikePDF is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from use of this site. As the service is free, any direct liability is limited to zero.

6. Third-party components

This site uses open-source libraries including pdf-lib, PDF.js, JSZip, Tesseract.js, SheetJS, PptxGenJS, mammoth.js and html2pdf.js, each under its own licence. We are grateful for them and claim no ownership of them.

7. Changes

These terms may be updated. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance.
